Green claims are easy to make and hard to check, so this list includes only stays where a certification body, an engineering firm or the property itself documents the specifics. Each entry links the source. A certification is a snapshot; ask about the current status when you book.

How can you check a resort's green claims yourself?
It depends on the claim. For LEED, search the project in the U.S. Green Building Council directory. For Green Globe or EarthCheck, look for the property on the certifier's own site. For solar, look for a named system size or panel count and who installed it. Vague phrases like 'eco-luxury' with no numbers are marketing, not evidence.
For Green Globe or EarthCheck, look for the property on the certifier's own site.
