Which of The World's 50 Best Hotels 2026 are the most high-vibe?

High Vibe Vacay scored all 50 hotels on The World's 50 Best Hotels 2026 list on nature, organic food, sustainability, movement, awe and clean energy.

The World's 50 Best Hotels is a luxury list: its 2026 edition, announced in September 2026, ranks city palaces and resorts chosen by an international voting academy. High Vibe Vacay is not re-ranking it. We kept each hotel's list rank and added a separate High Vibe Vacay score for nature, food, sustainability, movement, awe and clean energy. The list leans urban, so most city hotels score modestly here, and a handful of nature resorts rise to the top.

How did High Vibe Vacay score this list?

Quick answer

It depends on what a hotel shows in public. Each hotel got 0 to 2 points on each of six values: connection with nature, vibrant food (organic, greens, juices), local and sustainable, conscious movement, awe and wonder, and clean energy (verified certifications or documented on-site renewables only). A 0 means we found no public evidence, not that the hotel lacks it. We also checked five favorite features: beachfront, yoga, organic or cold-pressed juice, horseback riding and hiking. A feature counts only when an official or reputable page shows it.

Is The World's 50 Best Hotels a luxury list?

It depends on how you define luxury, but by any usual measure, yes. The list ranks hotels voted on by an international academy of hoteliers, travel writers and travel experts, and its 2026 top 50 is mostly flagship palaces and resorts from luxury groups such as Rosewood, Four Seasons, Aman, Capella and Belmond. High Vibe Vacay describes these hotels only as luxury, citing the list, and does not quote prices.

Why do so many of the top-ranked hotels score low on High Vibe Vacay values?

It depends on the setting. Many of the top 20 are city hotels in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Paris and London. They can be superb hotels but have little nature, few movement options beyond a gym or yoga studio, and rarely publish third-party energy certifications. Resorts in wild settings, such as Nihi Sumba, Chablé Yucatán, One&Only Mandarina and Amangiri, score higher because their official pages show nature, movement and local programs.

Did any World's 50 Best hotel win an eco award in 2026?

It depends on which award you mean. Within the list's own 2026 awards, Chablé Yucatán won the Eco Hotel award. On High Vibe Vacay's clean-energy value, official evidence included GSTC (Four Seasons Bangkok, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok and Qianmen), Green Key (Four Seasons Firenze, Astir Palace and San Domenico Palace; Estelle Manor), Green Globe (Raffles Singapore; Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo), EarthCheck (Maroma, Mount Nelson, Copacabana Palace, Patina Osaka), LEED (Rosewood Hong Kong) and on-site solar (Atlantis The Royal).

Which World's 50 Best hotels scored highest?

It depends on whether you weigh the total score or the favorite features. These are the five highest totals, ties broken by feature count (as of October 24, 2026):
